Expedition has far exceeded our expectations as a breeding bull. His progeny are powerful. They are long, big middled, good doing, and gain very well. We have his first daughters in production this year and they are going to be a tremendous asset to our cowherd. They are big ribbed, hold their flesh very well, and appear to be milking hard, with Expedition recording 13 daughters with a weaning ratio of 107.. We again have a large group of Expeditions sons in our upcoming sale, with many of them being coming two’s. Also in 2010, we have a small sire group of calves by S Expedition 788, our 2008 co-high seller. The 788 calves remind us a lot of the Expeditions with slightly more performance. We unfortunately lost Expedition last March so this will be the last time we will offer his sons in volume.
